Pica’s Deli & Ice Cream Serves Up

Pica’s Deli & Ice Cream satisfies the sweet tooth of Pica’s Pub and Grill’s craving of expanding their brand and satisfying their customers.

Located in the neighboring lot, the former 4,771 sf Laschi’s Garden Center is the newest flavor of the Pica’s trademark and compliments the always-packed Pica’s Pub. The Client envisioned the (almost) full bellies of Pica’s would walk over to Pica’s Deli for ice cream, or after a lively game of cornhole at Pica’s Deli, Pica’s Pub will host the victory dinner.

The former gift shop / fresh produce stand/garden shop now offers mouthwatering handmade sandwiches; a Nonni-approved Italian deli with Boar’s Head meats; Pica’s Pub’s most popular items “to-go”; and the diet-breaking year-round availability of Gifford’s ice cream.

The exterior space has been completely rehabbed, bringing new life to the structure. Beardsley Tree & Landscaping transformed the dry rocky terrain into a lush green vista with blankets of bright green grass and mature trees with wandering walkways, a fun putting green and attractive fencing. Now the landscape and outdoor area beckon for long hours of yard games and live entertainment with a cozy firepit area and inviting cornhole spaces.

More than just building a whole new menu, the former greenhouse was transformed into a covered assembly space, featuring a live wood edge bar and seating.

An expedited Fall 2022 opening was granted by RWH's efforts to work with the City of Methuen's Boards in gaining all necessary approvals and permits.

Just this week, Pica’s announced their partnership with Carbone’s Kitchen. The cult following of Pica’s mixed with the fan base of Carbone’s is just the cherry on top of Merrimack Valley’s culinary epicenter.
