RWH Architect was engaged by Enterprise Bank & Trust to conduct a comprehensive Facility Condition Assessment for their headquarters at 222 Merrimack Street in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts. The 21,140 sf, 3.5-story historic building—originally constructed in 1884—is owned by the National Park Service (NPS).
To maintain compliance with NPS leasing requirements, Enterprise Bank was required to update its Facility Condition Assessment. RWH performed a detailed evaluation of the existing conditions, identifying any deficiencies outlined in the NPS assessment that remain unresolved. The study included prioritized recommendations, repair timelines, and cost estimates, along with additional areas identified by RWH that warrant attention.
This project ensures that Enterprise Bank’s historic downtown property continues to meet the standards of both the NPS and the bank’s commitment to stewardship, functionality, and long-term preservation.
