Located in the iconic Coca-Cola plant on Route 28 in Salem, NH, Par28 is the area’s newest hotspot that comfortably blends a lively bar and open-concept kitchen with high-end golf simulation and challenging axe-throwing bays. The walls were removed to provide the open space needed for the intricate layout. Golf and axe bays have particular dimension requirements, especially with height, so a major portion of the design process focused on fit and layout. Much attention was given to the bar design to serve the most amount of patrons. Even more, Par28’s signature coal-fired pizza oven needed to be featured and viewable from multiple angles. Their distinctive shark tank required a showcasing area, and the six 75-inch TVs necessitated proper placement above the bar. Adding in the axe and golf areas, programming demanded extra consideration for power sources, exterior exhaust, plumbing, and patron flow - all while making sure spaces were safe for patrons. The challenge to accommodate areas for large group gaming and smaller intimate social spaces was achieved.

“We didn’t want to skimp anywhere. Honestly, I can look at this and say I’m very proud of what we built and see our vision—our collaborative thinking, concepts—come to life and totally meet our expectation. It probably exceeded our expectation.” - Jim Tomacchio, Owner/Operator, Par28
